Spice Route Mint - the aromatic herb
Mentha spicata

The Mint family has a wide variety and amongst them the most popular is Spearmint - the culinary herb and Peppermint - the popular medicinal and freshening herb.

Spearmint or 'Mint' as it is commonly called, is native to the temperate regions of Europe and its name is derived from "Minthes", as mentioned in Greek mythology.

MintMint grown in our farms are harvested and dried using a unique process to retain their distinct aroma and pleasing light flavour that is not pungent.

Mint is used widely in kitchens as a good accompaniment to chicken, pork and veal. It has myriad applications - to flavour salads and sauces, chutneys, stir fried vegetables and dishes like cold soups and fruit mixes.
